Artifice Graphics: Indie Storytelling Team Plans to Launch El Gato Diablo Webtoon
Hello and welcome to Artifice Graphics! We’re a passionate indie team from Waco, Texas, with a vision: to bring immersive storytelling and high-quality art to life through our original webtoon series. Our current project, El Gato Diablo, is already in development, and we couldn’t be more excited to share our journey with you.
Who We Are
Artifice Graphics was born out of a shared passion for storytelling and visual artistry. Our founding members, Chad Taylor, Beau Biarnesen, and Eva Love-Stone, each bring their unique skills and creativity to the table, from art direction to character creation, scriptwriting, and beyond. Our paths first crossed years ago, and over time, we realized we shared a vision for creating stories that were not only visually engaging but emotionally resonant.
After years of balancing life, work, and our creative ambitions, 2024 became our moment to officially launch Artifice Graphics. We returned to our roots, fueled by the desire to build a storytelling brand that truly connects with fans who appreciate rich, layered stories and expressive art.
Our First Project: El Gato Diablo
Our debut project, El Gato Diablo, is a thrilling, fantasy webtoon that follows Za’amiel, a demon prince cursed into a cat-like form and exiled from Hell. He finds himself bound to Lily, a young witch on a mission to rescue her mother’s soul. Together, they embark on a perilous journey, facing supernatural challenges, mysterious foes, and hidden secrets as Za’amiel grapples with his own quest for revenge and redemption.
El Gato Diablo brings together our love for fantasy, unique character design, and suspenseful storytelling. We’re working hard to develop a story that will captivate readers and keep them eagerly anticipating each new chapter.
What We’re Doing
Beyond the development of El Gato Diablo, we’re laying the groundwork for a full creative hub at Artifice Graphics. We want to create a place where fans can experience more than just the final product. Here’s what’s in store:
- Exclusive Content: We’ll be offering behind-the-scenes insights, sneak peeks, and live art sessions on platforms like Patreon, where our supporters can see our process and be part of our journey.

- Events & Conventions: We’re looking forward to participating in events, conventions, and other gatherings to showcase our work and meet fans in person. As we grow, we hope to become a regular presence at these events.
